After the upheaval of the last couple of years, the return of events such as
The Anglesey Arts Forum Open Studios is such a welcome step towards normality. This year, fifty-five venues participated across the island, showcasing the incredible range of talent that we have here on Ynys Môn.
Open Studios marked the first chance I've had to showcase a new collection, painted entirely in my new studio space. The building is inspired by cosy Scandinavian wooden cabins, and is designed to be environmentally friendly in construction, and in how it fits within the surroundings. I'm so inspired by the Welsh coast and countryside, and by my Danish heritage, so this really is a space that marries the two.
For anyone who made it to Open Studios this year, thank you very much for your support and enthusiasm. If you missed us this time, panic not, there will be more exhibitions and originals in the future.
