July 2007
After a crazy month of getting married, going on honeymoon and selling out of the limited edition prints I am working hard and fast. I have just a handful of artist proof prints which i am selling at the normal price. I am hopefully launching some new prints in the next few months but in the meantime you could get in touch with Whistlefish galleries in Padstow or St Ives as they have some limited editions left. I am spending the next couple of months topping up my galleries, completing private commissions and preparing for my next Open studios which this year will be on the 22nd/23rd September in Hoole, Chester. For more details please contact me.

Having talks with people about illustrating a childrens book and talking with a big publisher about prints......and...
I had amazing success at the seaside galleries last year and am preparing for their busy season to start again, especially Oriel, Barmouth where I launched my open edition prints last August and who sold 95 in six weeks!
Speaking of which, I have finally launched my new set of Limited Editions. There are four in total, I love them. I have added another four to my open edition range too. Go over to the Prints Page to see more. I think they could make a lovely present for someobody or even for more importantly for yourself. They are in a nice thick mount and you wil not be disappointed with the quality, I was honestly amazed.
It's all very exciting....I love it!!!
I better get back up to that studio to my easel, Bye for now!
Christmas 2006
My goodness, what a busy busy Summer, still at it and busy preparing for Christmas shows galore now!
I have had amazing success at the seaside galleries this year, especially Oriel where I launched my prints and who sold 95 in six weeks!
Speaking of which, I have finally launched my new set of prints. There are eight of my favourites in total, I think my absolute favourite is Regatta Weekend . There are 2 sizes and they are signed and marked by yours truly. Go over to the Prints Page to see what I'm talking about. I think they could make a lovely Christmas present for someobody or even for yourself. They are in a nice thick mount and look lovely framed. I have made them standard sizes so frames for them are really easy to find. They look lovely in light wood or white Habitat or Ikea frames. Five percent of all profits will go to the RNLI Lifeboat Institution as this is a cause close to my heart. Soon I will be showing with a new gallery for me called Baxters in Dartmouth, Devon. It is formally known as Hartworks and is a wonderfully fresh, coastal gallery. I will have work in there from mid November.
I am also participating in the Christmas show at Wills Art Warehouse. They have moved premises to Putney, London now. All my other galleries will have new works ready for Christmas.
I've got commissions coming out of my ears both private and corporate.
In August I was approached by the Pozzoni group of architects who design retirement villages. These are groundbreaking designs and new concepts for nursing homes. They commissioned me to paint large scale canvases for the reception areas of these projects. It was a challenge as not my normal pallette and subject (not a boat in sight). Considering colours and shapes for the visually impaired is something I have never considered before and working so big really pushed me but they are finished and in situ and everone was delighted.
September saw a large project for a new hospital in Runcorn,Cheshire with the tightest deadline ever. Commissioned by Interhealth Care services I had 10 large paintings to create to brighten up their corridors. What fun, and they really created impact. Again I enjoyed painting on such large canvases.
Best get painting then hadn't I!?
